Heather Leigh Young was born in Savannah, Ga., but spent many years moving around the country with her family. She painted her first mural at 16 years old, in her neighbor's nursery. This inspired her to pursue art as a profession. She returned home to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design, and worked her way through school painting murals and portraits, and drawing pen and inks for local businesses. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.F.A. in illustration, and launched her first line of greeting cards, "Savannah Fountains." Heather has worked with such companies as Liberty Mutual, The Savannah International Trade & Convention Center, Coastal Empire Plastic Surgery, Beach Side Realty, SavannahBest.com, Fountains 'n' Such, and the Savannah College of Art and Design. She illustrates the "Taste of the Month" page for Skirt! Magazine in Savannah, Charleston, Atlanta, and Charlotte. She enjoys the unique challenge that each job brings, and strives to exceed the expectations of all her clients.
