"What do I like the most about working at shopSCAD? Well, for starters, being completely surrounded by nothing but sheer talent. On top of that, my coworkers are pretty nifty people who I learn from on a daily basis. The most important thing, however, is the opportunity to meet all the different people who come into the shop. There is a definite vibe at shopSCAD. I think just walking through the store excites our customers, which is why I am continually in deep conversation with many of them about what the shop is about, the programs available through SCAD, and the culture of Savannah itself. I came to SCAD originally as a photography student, but found direct interaction with the people of this city is far more interesting than the life through a camera lens. I hope to stay in Savannah long after graduating, promoting art-based, after-school programs for elementary students in the area."
